TYPES OF SECONDRY CAR LOCKS

STEERING LOCK

In addition to the steering lock that we have, this type of lock is placed on the steering wheel to prevent thief from controlling the steering wheel when the vehicle being stolen. Some of the lock are placed on top or at the side of the steering wheel. There are also a type of steering wheel which clamps the steering itself. The best steering lock is a cross type and goes beneath the steering.


PADDLE LOCK

This type of lock is placed on the breaking pedal and for some on the clutch pedal. The lock placed beneath the pedal stops the thief from controlling the breaking pedal and can also prevent thief to engage first gear for manual transmission. As a result the thief unable to run away the car.


GEAR LOCK

A piece of padlocking the gear knob is called gear lock. When the gear is lock thief unable to move into gear and this prevent them from stealin the car. There are various type of gear locks and for most this is the best solution for a peace of mind.
